Restaurant Week South Africa is finally here, and this means indulgence on another level!

True foodies can seize the opportunity to treat themselves (and we certainly will be) to a delicious meal at one of 125 participating restaurants all offering tantalizing specials worth every penny. It’s all happening around the table, and with Windhoek Beer, from March 31 to April 30.

And of course one of our faves is on that list. The Chefs’ Table on Chartwell Drive uMhlanga, that has earned its place as one of the more sophisticated fine dining experiences in Durban, boasts an exquisite three-course menu from just R435 a person.

For those who might be visiting other parts of SA over the next few days, there are a host of recommended restaurants on the list with menus that are bound to get your taste buds tingling. These include:

Salsify at The Roundhouse in Cape Town offering and award-winning five-course tasting menu for R650 a person.

Insights Restaurant in Johannesburg, offering a delicious three-course fine dining menu at R445 a person.

Longtable Restaurant in Stellenbosch boasts a wonderful three-plates lunch special for R295 a head.

Geet in Pretoria boasts an exquisite four-course Indian tasting menu at R350 a person.

URCHIN in Cape Town, celebrates a world-class five-course tasting menu for R645 a head and

Ōku in Franschhoek offers and Asian-inspired 11-course tasting menu for R895 a person.
