Navigating ones future career by expanding ones knowledge and networking, is key to curating ones best future by design. Final year and some 2nd year students (The IIE’s Varsity College Westville) recently attended the campus’ annual Careers Evening where they engaged with and were addressed by various industry experts and prospective employers on possible opportunities and how to improve employability as a graduate.
The evening included company presentations, specific to the various IIE qualifications, from prospective employers and a networking session where students were encouraged to ask questions. Companies in attendance included EY, Affinity Group Aitken Lambert Elsworth Inc., Baker Tilly Morrison Murray, BDO, Business Partners, C. Steinweg Bridge Pty Ltd, Garlicke and Bousfield Inc., KPMG, Mooney Ford Attorneys, Mr Price Group, NPA, ProBono.Org, PwC, PKF and The Hardy Boys. The IIE’s Varsity College Westville was very proud to note that 5 out of the 15 companies that were present, employed The IIE’s Varsity College Alumni.
