First Rand Trans Africa pioneered a recent cycling journey traversing beautiful parts of the back roads of South Africa to raises funds for Ingane Yami Children’s Village – a permanent, loving home for orphaned and vulnerable children located just outside of Durban, in the Shongweni Valley.

This is an incredible initiative saw 16 committed riders on a 12-day bicycle ride to raise from Matjiesfontein in the central Karoo in the Western Cape to Giba Gorge covering around 1,310km.

The welcome back home event saw sponsors, families, and the Village itself welcome in the riders in celebration of their incredible achievement.

A total of R1 408 000 was raised for Ingane Yami and their Education Fund, a testament to what can be achieved when a group of people get together for a common cause that they are passionate about!

Massive gratitude to First Rand Group as the title sponsor.
