Music lovers gathered to chill to good vibes and show their support to community charities and local talent at the recent Jam in the Park session. Held on the grassy grounds of Shongweni Club, locals jammed on their blankets, in their chairs and in front of the stage to the soulful and upbeat sounds of The Kickstands, Pete Guthrie, Melanie Nash and Tanner Wareham while youngsters enjoyed burning off some energy outdoors alongside their parents after a lot of recent rain. A portion of the funds raised from the event was donated to the Jes Foord Foundation in support of their efforts in setting up a rape victim support unit in the Hillcrest area.
