Splendid Get It morning

We could not have asked for a more beautiful day for our Get It Readers’ Event. Held at the gorgeous Willow Way Manor in Hillcrest, our Mother’s Day Breakfast turned out to be a feel-good day that celebrated the many wonderful women who exist in our lives, and highlighted the incredible work that goes on behind the scenes of our two charities this year … Paw Prints Rescue and Rehoming and the Twinkle Star Foundation. Guests spent the morning indulging in retail therapy and pampering to the vibrant sounds of acoustic folk and country family band Kith & Kin, before enjoying a winter-inspired fashion show by Calypso Collections, a delicious buffet and an inspiring talk by life coach and motivational speaker Burgette Yarlett. With more than R175 000 worth of giveaways and spoils, nobody went home empty-handed and we raised more than R25 000 which we could not have done, so incredibly successfully, without the help of our generous sponsors, with special mention to Halfway Ford Waterfall, Kingsmead Shoes and our fabulous MC Kim Griffith Jones of Connective Consulting.
