Soulful tunes, good vibes and picturesque scenery. What an unforgettable afternoon it was when legendary South African musos Watershed took to the stage at Fig Tree Farm in Hillcrest as part of their 2024 tour around the country. Fans, armed with blankets and chairs and picnic baskets filled to the brim, flocked to the park-like grounds near the stage and set up under the trees in the winter sunshine. They enjoyed the smooth sounds of local songbird Carmen Rodrigues, who opened the concert with her new hit single Surprise, before Watershed delivered a captivating performance that included their new song, This Town, which they dedicated to Hillcrest, as well as old favourites like Indigo Girl and Letters.
