It was a morning of inspiration, laughter and music at the Mirth and Melodies Fundraiser in support of local NPO Hearts in Hands. Held at Willow Way Manor in Hillcrest, the event brought together men and women from across Durban to enjoy a soul-stirring performance by The Meditators and a delicious buffet breakfast. Moving community stories followed, leading up to a show-stopping performance by comedy duo Lisa Bobbert and Aaron McIlroy, who had the crowd in stitches. Just under R25,000 was raised, which will go towards Hearts in Hands’ upliftment and refurbishment project at Lusana Crèche.
