The Radisson Blu Hotel in Umhlanga hosted its annual Breast Cancer Awareness High Tea, raising an impressive R130,000 for PinkDrive. Held in partnership with the Estée Lauder Group of Companies and Women of Africa, the elegant afternoon beautifully combined style and purpose. Guests were treated to thought-provoking talks by Advocate Pria Hassan, Janice Benecke from PinkDrive and Dr Marion Algar, a clinical and radiation oncologist, who each highlighted the importance of awareness, early detection, and access to care. Adding a touch of sparkle to the afternoon, actress Maeshni Naicker entertained the audience with her trademark humour, while Mrs SA 2024 finalist Delia Kroll guided proceedings with elegance and warmth. Guests enjoyed a decadent high tea and enthusiastically supported the cause through more than 80 raffle and auction prizes, which helped generate most of the funds raised.
