Striding into its 36th year, the iconic SPAR Women’s 10km and 5km Challenge Durban was officially launched at SPAR KZN Distribution Centre, setting the tone for a vibrant race season ahead. The colourful launch event was filled with balloons, music, upbeat energy and a strong sense of anticipation as ambassadors, VIP guests and SPAR representatives gathered to celebrate the upcoming race. The event was MC’d by East Coast Radio’s DJ Tee Xaba, and DJ Danny Guselli broadcast live from the event, adding to the excitement on the day. This year’s Durban leg takes place on Sunday, June 28 at Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium, with entries capped at 12 500 participants. Embracing the theme #CelebrateHer, the challenge continues to champion women of all ages, whether taking on the 10km or 5km route, competitively or as a fun run.
