The Guardian Youth SA Step Up Youth Walk was successfully hosted, bringing together young people, community members, and stakeholders in a powerful display of unity, hope, and community involvement. The walk took place from uShaka Marine World to Suncoast Casino, with approximately 200 attendees taking part in this impactful initiative.
The objective of the walk was to encourage young people to take an active role in their communities, promote healthy lifestyles, build positive relationships, and create awareness around the importance of youth empowerment and social responsibility. The initiative aimed to inspire the youth to step up, become agents of change, and contribute towards creating safer and stronger communities.The walk was organised by Guardian Youth SA, a Non-Profit Company committed to youth development, community upliftment, and creating opportunities that encourage young people to participate in meaningful social initiatives.
The success of the walk was made possible through the incredible support and partnership of various community stakeholders, including Jordan Full Gospel Church, Open Doors Church, Ward 34 Councillor (Andrew Akkers), Pastor K.Dlamini, and Marshall Security, who all played a valuable role in ensuring the smooth running and success of the event.Three Youth from various schools came up in the top three : 1st place Jordan Molefe (Effingham Secondary School) 2nd Place Enhle (Effingham Primary School) and 3rd place Lwandle Shange (Northlands Girls High. The event was filled with energy, unity, and a shared commitment towards building a better future for young people. Guardian Youth SA extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who participated, supported, and contributed towards making the Step Up Youth Walk a memorable success.Together, we continue to step up, inspire change, and empower the next generation.
