Women from across Durban’s business community gathered recently for The Working Class Talk, hosted by Sizakele Sibiya of Incredible Moments. Created as a platform for honest conversations, the series invited women from diverse industries to discuss the realities, challenges and triumphs of today’s working world while balancing the many roles life demands. The inspiring speaker line-up included Thobekile Ndlovu, managing director of Thobethulani Trading; Thandi Sabelo, head of supply chain management at Transnet Port Terminals and founder of The Working Class; Professor Gugu Mchunu, executive dean (Health Sciences) at the Durban University of Technology; and entrepreneur and industrialist Ntombenhle Nhleko. Through personal stories and practical insights, they highlighted the importance of resilience, leadership and women supporting one another. The event also offered valuable networking opportunities, reinforcing the strength of women who connect, collaborate and champion each other’s success.
