There were giggles galore, many selfies and a huge amount of excitement as the winner and finalists of Get It’s Face of the Race competition took on the SPAR Women’s Challenge Joburg at Marks Park Sports Club in Emmarentia today, 6 October.
Before they put their Asics takkies to the tarmac, the girls posed for photos and were spoilt with goodie bags.

Our Get It Joburg North Face of the Race finalist, Holly Gxubane, chats to us ahead of her run.
The top three women who finished the race are Helalia Johannes in first, the 2019 Comrades Marathon Champion Gerda Steyn in second and former Joburg champion Irvette van Zyl.
