There’s a global trend in Bourbon … and in South Africa it’s no different … sales of this whiskey category are soaring. We’re massive fans of the number one, highly awarded USA brand, Buffalo Trace, and are whoop whooping that we can taste this, as well as some of the other Bourbon represented by premium drinks company Truman & Orange, at this year’s Whisky & Spirits Live in Sandton. Besides Buffalo Trace, we’ll be sipping and savouring Sazerac Straight Rye, Blanton’s Single Barrel, Blanton’s Gold, Eagle Rare Single Barrel, 1792 Small Batch Bourbon and WL Weller Reserve. The festival is on at Sandton Convention Centre tonight, with the tasting hall open from 6pm to 10pm. Tickets from R140, which includes a tasting glass, a bottle of still water and 16 tasting vouchers.
