If you’re older than 60 and love the good things in life (don’t we all), you’ll want to indulge in the special Pensioner’s High Tea at Libertè Bistro in The Woods in Craighall.
Think dark Belgian chocolate ganache cupcakes, eclairs and freshly baked scones, savoury skewers and luxury canapes (the smoked salmon and spinach are faves).
The special pensioners rate of R300 for two includes two pots of tea, and if you’ve a grandchild, a son or daughter, a younger friend they’re invited too … as long as a pensioner is at the table everyone qualifies for the Pensioner’s High Tea rate.
Monday to Friday – and you need to book 48 hours in advance with Irene or Yvonne on 010 824 5791 and specify Pensioner’s High Tea on booking.
