5FM, is proud to (once again) stand with Breast Intentions for the annual Breast Intentions Colour Run, taking place on Saturday, 17 October at Thaba Eco Trails in Joburg.
This vibrant, family‑friendly 5km walk and run is more than a feel‑good day out. It is a movement with a bold mission.
Breast Intentions is committed to funding 100 life‑saving mammograms for women in under‑resourced communities and every ticket sold helps to make early detection possible. Early detection saves lives, and this event gives young South Africans a chance to make a practical, meaningful and potentially life‑saving difference.
5FM will be amplifying the energy on the day with a live broadcast from 5 Weekend Breakfast with Mike V, Palesa Lemeke and Aaron Masemola – bringing the colour, music and cause championing spirit straight to the 5 Nation across Mzansi.
Participants can expect a scenic trail, colour powder stations to brighten themselves up in support, food and drink stalls, DJ entertainment and an electric atmosphere designed to celebrate women, wellness and hope.
Tickets are available via Breast Intentions and Thaba Eco Trails platforms. Every entry directly contributes to the Give Hope. Fund a Scan campaign.
