Celebrating all things funny, Joker’s July comedy festival kicks off this July, at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace, with a larger-than-life comedy line-up. Riaad is back into the swing of things, bringing his best comedic offerings to the stage.

The Horwood’s Family Market, held at Horwood’s Farm park, 1 Homestead Road in Edenvale, will take place on July 3 from 9am to 4pm. Join BirdLife South Africa for the biggest event in African birding this year, The African Bird Fair 2022. This year they are hosting a hybrid event, meaning the entire programme will be available virtually, but you’re also welcome to join them for the in-person event at Isdell House, in Dunkeld West, Johannesburg.

Get out in nature and breathe some fresh air. Join in on the guided walk at Kliprivier Nature Reserve. Meet at 7am to leave at 7.30am, at the coffee shop, Precinct Entrance, Peggy Vera Road. All fitness levels are catered for this walk, which takes about three hours. Come and enjoy a healthy outdoor experience and appreciation of nature in the jewel of the south.
