The global sensation that has united female motorcyclists across the planet is heading to Hartbeespoort. On Saturday, 18 April, the Women Riders World Relay (WRWR) will host an action-packed Ladies’ Day at the ADA Training and Outdoor Centre.
Hosted by Morag Campbell from OpenRider – the VIP ambassador and golden baton holder for April 2026 – the event is a call to all women to ride, learn, laugh, and connect.
The WRWR is more than just a relay; it is a global community breaking stereotypes. This South African event focuses on bringing together women who ride, those who haven’t been in the saddle for years, and those who are “bike-curious.” While the spotlight is on the ladies, partners and children are encouraged to join the fun; husbands can stay busy at the braai or take advantage of ‘bike washing privileges’ while supporting the movement.
Designed as a ‘no pressure’ environment, the event focuses on community and positive energy. Participation is open to everyone – you don’t need to be WRWR-registered to attend.
The lineup includes:
- The golden baton handover: Be part of the official WRWR ceremony with April Ambassador, Morag.
- Pass the baton & try a challenge: A series of fun social and rider development tasks for the WRWR community.
- Stationary motorcycle experience: The thrill of ‘being on a bike’ for the first time.
- Technical & fun sessions: Bike skills training, maintenance showcases powered by Motul, Pirelli know your tyre activity and the legendary “Slow Race” to test balance and control.
- Kids’ entertainment: A fun-filled Easter egg hunt for the children.
- Tunes & vibe: NickyB from Kaya959 will be behind the decks, sharing her deep love and knowledge of music to keep the energy high.
