The much-loved Sunset Music Series is officially back for 2026, once again transforming the breathtaking Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden into Johannesburg’s ultimate outdoor live music destination.
Following a spectacular season launch with Jeremy Loops on Sunday, 10 May, the Sunset Music Series now gears up for an exciting run of upcoming concerts featuring some of South Africa’s most celebrated artists. Fans can look forward to the soaring vocals of Matthew Mole and Will Linley on Sunday, 14 June, and then Afrikaans rock heavyweights Spoegwolf and Francois van Coke on Sunday, 28 June.
And this is only the beginning…
With both an Autumn and Spring edition planned for 2026, music lovers can expect even more major artist announcements in the months ahead, making the Sunset Music Series one of the country’s premier lifestyle concert experiences once again.
Each event runs from 13:00 to 17:00, with gates opening at 13:00. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic baskets and food, while a variety of bars and refreshments will be available on-site (please note: no own drinks permitted). Camp chairs and picnic blankets are welcome, allowing concertgoers to settle in comfortably and soak up the atmosphere.
Tickets for all shows start from R195 (excluding ticket fees), with strong demand already building for the upcoming concerts. Early booking is highly recommended to secure your place at one of Johannesburg’s most loved live music experiences.
