Every September, Childhood Cancer International (CCI) members and the whole community of childhood cancer champions, advocates and supporters encourage the community to spread awareness of childhood cancer by going gold!
Show your support to our youth affected by cancer and turn your workplace GOLD this International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa. GOLD is the colour of strength, courage, and resiliency.
GOLD is the symbolic color of childhood cancer.

4 WAYS THAT YOUR COMPANY CAN GO GOLD WITH CHOC:
1) Help CHOC create awareness around childhood cancer on social media
- Share CHOC’s social media posts.
- Post social media elements provided by CHOC on your company’s social media platforms.
- Share the Siluan Early Warning Signs of childhood cancer on your employee communication platforms.
2) Take part in the CEO Challenge.
As a distinguished person of the company with an impact on the society be a voice for children and teenagers with cancer.
Challenge your colleagues to add their voices and destigmatise childhood cancer, in your personal capacity and utilising the company’s platforms either internally or on social media, and help spread simple but life changing messages. Record a one-minute video with your company background.
3) Purchase gold ribbons for your employees to wear for the month of September.
