Sela iced tea summer recipe:
Ingredients:
Fresh lemon/orange
Mint leaves
Sweetener (optional: honey or brown sugar)
2 Sela teabags
1 cup fresh fruit
Ice cubes
Method:
- Boil the water
- Add 2 cups of water into a saucepan and heat until it begins to water.
- Steep the teabags
- Place 2 teabags into a jug, pour in the hot water and allow to steep for 3 – 5 minutes.
- Stir in the lemon juice or lemon slices
- Squeeze some fresh lemon or orange into the jug and stir. For extra flavour add fresh slices of lemon or orange.
- Add a sweetener of your choice (either brown sugar or honey). For those who follow a clean lifestyle and are diabetic, avoid using any sweeteners.
- Garnish with fresh fruit, ice cubes and mint.
Serve and enjoy
Store in the fridge in a jar or glass until chilled to your preference and give it a big stir before serving.
