Sela iced tea summer recipe:

Ingredients:

Fresh lemon/orange

Mint leaves

Sweetener (optional: honey or brown sugar)

2 Sela teabags

1 cup fresh fruit

Ice cubes

Method:

  1. Boil the water
  2. Add 2 cups of water into a saucepan and heat until it begins to water.
  3. Steep the teabags
  4. Place 2 teabags into a jug, pour in the hot water and allow to steep for 3 – 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice or lemon slices
  6. Squeeze some fresh lemon or orange into the jug and stir. For extra flavour add fresh slices of lemon or orange.
  7. Add a sweetener of your choice (either brown sugar or honey).  For those who follow a clean lifestyle and are diabetic, avoid using any sweeteners.
  8. Garnish with fresh fruit, ice cubes and mint.

Serve and enjoy

Store in the fridge in a jar or glass until chilled to your preference and give it a big stir before serving.
