The North Coast is a hive of activity and growth and it can be hard to keep up with all the exciting new places and things right on our doorstep. This Spring, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite new local businesses that have recently ‘sprung’ up!

The Beach House

Locals Zane Da Silva, Mike Dog Johnson and Reg Macdonald have teamed up to create Umhlanga’s hottest new restaurant and bar. Drawing inspiration from the laidback Durban beach surf culture, The Beach House is a unique, authentic coastal establishment with a vintage beach house look and feel. The casual menu consists of local favourites combined with smaller experimental tapas-style plates and is sinfully completed with cutting-edge cocktail! A new home for anyone seeking good vibes, great service and delicious food, or to just unwind with a refreshing drink at the end of a long day. Here’s to a bright future filled with laidback lunches, vibey dinners and after-work drinks!
