First on the list of trends is statement floral installations. From grand ceiling installations to breathtaking floral arches, couples are embracing the beauty and impact of large-scale blooms to create a wow factor in their décor.
Another trend that has been popular for a few years – and is not going anywhere in 2023 – is the use of neon signage. Couples use fun and quirky phrases to add a touch of personality to their décor.
Eco-conscious couples are opting for sustainable décor options such as reusable tableware, biodegradable confetti and locally-sourced flowers. Materials such as bamboo, recycled glass and reclaimed wood are being incorporated into décor as well.
Maximalism is also taking over wedding décor in 2023. Bold colours, patterns and textures are being combined to create an electric and visually-striking atmosphere.
Lastly, unconventional seating arrangements are becoming more popular with couples. Circular seating or banquet-style tables are being used to encourage a more interactive and social atmosphere among guests.
