Leading LADIES

In our community, women are making waves across a diverse range of industries. This Women’s Month it’s appropriate to highlight some of the new and exciting stores at Lifestyle Centre, which happen to be owned, run or inspired by females. From fashion and beauty, to food and décor, these local brands are a reflection of the creativity and determination that drive them…

Hannah Pride is the owner and brainchild behind Love Home, a small, bespoke store in The Studios at Lifestyle Centre, offering unique and personalised home décor. Having only operated in the online space previously, she recently took a brave step in opening her first store to showcase her unique products, sourced from around Africa and Europe, and custom furniture made by local artisans in South Africa. Pop in and see her gorgeous furniture, lighting, hand-painted ceramics and textiles.

Zaras Cafe has launched a new offering – an exciting counter specialising in custard desserts and pastries. In the same way that Zaras is a family business built on passion and creativity, Maro Zaroudoukas has collaborated with her daughter and niece to create Dear Custard, a new innovative concept, inspired by the famous Zaras custard slice, that adds some fun and delicious new products – because who doesn’t love custard!
