Be Human Whiskey & Gin Festival
The Be Human Whiskey & Gin Festival is back on 22 October from 12:00. Various gin, whiskey, and wine vendors will be present for tastings. Die Heuwels Fantasties, Sunset Sweatshop, Ivan Roux, Karoo, Daniel Wesley and Neil Nachtrein will be live on stage. Tickets cost R300 for general access and include 10 tastings of your choice. Mom’s Night Out

MUD Makeup Masterclasses
Join us for ‘An Educated Approach to Make-up’ presented by MUD owner, Brenda on 29 October at Urth. This masterclass is open to anyone who wants to learn how to do their own makeup, and for makeup students, artists or salons too. Guests will be spoiled with delicious snacks, lucky draw hampers, and vouchers to be used at the MUD Studio at Preller Square. Tickets cost R500 and include catering & refreshments. Miss Cancer Survivor pageant
Being the very first of its kind in Bloemfontein, the Bloemfontein Civic Theatre will stage beautiful queens who have fought and won their battle against cancer on 29 October at 11:00. This passion ran project by Mr Chief Leeuw (Executive Director of Miss SA Plus World), is important to him because his daughter is a cancer survivor herself (leukaemia). 16 cancer survivors will be on stage for the pageant and all are welcome to join in and witness this one-of-a-kind event focused on promoting hope that cancer can be beaten. Tickets will be available at the door, at R100 per person.
