Honesty, ethics, and perseverance are principles Dr John-Clint Adams (JC) lives by. He says his biggest motivation is optimal quality of life, the unconditional love of dogs, and resilience.
Dr Adams, who has worked for the state for close to 12 years, has entered the private sector. He says he needed a change to establish himself in certain aspects of his career and personal life.
“I am one of three specialist general surgeons at Life Rosepark Hospital. I offer care and consult patients in all spheres of medicine that require any general surgical expertise. I engage in a multidisciplinary team to afford patients optimal health care,” he explains.
Answering what he would’ve changed in his career today, he says that he would focus on financial education in healthcare. “That’s all, the rest I would not change.”
He says opening a practice in a manner that suits him best is one of his proudest achievements thus far. Although Dr JC Adams, Specialist General Surgeon, is a fairly new addition to the city, he says interacting and communicating with patients will be done effectively to make his practice a success.
When Dr Adams is not at his practice, he enjoys being at home while spending time with his loved ones and his dogs. “My dogs offer so much comfort from the daily stressors I face,” he expressed.
“Get the right people in your circle that support you” is his final word of advice for younger men who are planning on venturing into business.
