Futura Financial Services is managed and run by three women phenomenal women Joanita Coetzee, Liezel Grobler and Elmarie Eybers. Located in a fairly quiet part of Westdene, the company provides a service with a personal touch, and of course people skills.

Elmarie Eybers is a data capturer while Liezel Grobler is the Practice Manager at Futura Financial Services and Joanita Coetzee is the owner and CEO of the practice.

A knack for numbers and people

With a knack for numbers for as long as she can remember, Elmarie Eybers says that God, her mom and her child are her biggest motivators in her life as she enjoys spending time with family.

Her only regret since she started her career in the field of numbers, is that she did not study further, but that did not hold her back as she celebrates how far she has come in the industry she works in. Elmarie captures bank statements for clients on Pastel and captures slips for VAT purposes and the U-filing for clients.

The faithfulness to the clients at Futura Financial Services is what makes doing what Elmarie does a success. “Look after your personnel and clients. Always do your best,” she advises.

When asked if she feels a sense of “sisterhood” or women standing together in the corporate environment, Elmarie exclaims that she definitely does.

Family values, positivity and drive

“My strong administrative background led me to love the practice of being organised and precise,” says iezel Grobler.

For Liezel, that is what makes the business a success, in addition to adding value to the service the financial services company provides to their clients.

Liezel says she wakes up every morning with the mindset to be positive, with the drive to move forward on the road that the Lord has chosen for her.

Being married to her husband Johan Grobler for 25 years is her biggest personal achievement. Being a mother to her children, Jolize (13) and Eduan (11), keeps her busy and a good read is what she enjoys doing when she wants to wind down.

Her advice for younger women who aspire to be in business is to never let themselves down. “Do not let anyone or anything get you down!” she says.
