Trulife, a Durban based NPO, has created an online resource for teenagers to help them cope with the anxiety and changes experienced during the COVID-19 crisis.

They’ve met countless teens who didn’t know that they could be trafficked via Instagram or that their pictures could end up on adult websites like Pornhub. Trulife believes that it is vital to engage in conversations with teens around online safety during the lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic. It’s not just about enforcing rules or taking “phone privileges” away, but rather teaching wisdom. This conversation is part of a 10-week video series they have created called “COVID-19: Navigating Through Crisis” to help teens (and parents) cope with this “new normal”. The series tackles issues like cyber safety, mental health, building resilience and self-leadership. Along with the videos come activities, discussion points and online assessments for schools.

If you’re a concerned parent, anxious teenager or adult involved in teaching or mentoring children we can help you!
