Feeling a little glum that the hot summer days are coming to an end? Why not lift your spirits and take up the home bartending trend by whipping up one (or all) of these delicious cocktails to toast the last days of summer in style?

Decided you’re not drinking? No fear, one of the recipes features the freshly-introduced Fluère Non-alcoholic Distilled Spirit. THE BLOEDLEMOEN (pronounced Blue’d Le Moon) LUCKY LEAGUE

Ingredients
2 tablespoons (30ml) Bloedlemoen Gin
4 teaspoons (20ml) Dry vermouth
2½ teaspoons (12,5ml) lemon juice
15ml raspberry syrup (1 cup sugar, 1 cup boiling water and 10 raspberries. Shake to dissolve sugar, then chill)
20ml egg white (Pro tip: The lemon will start to “cook” the egg.)
Edible flower, for serving

Method
1. Mix all ingredients in a shaker, and shake thoroughly
2. Fine strain into a coupe or martini glass. Serve with an edible flower.

THE DON PAPA MANILA MADE

Ingredients

50ml Don Papa
25ml Lemon Juice
20ml Honey
4 Cucumber slices
Handful of mint

Method

  • Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and gently muddle to release flavours.
  • Add ice and shake hard for 10-15 seconds.
  • Double strain into ice-filled rocks glass.
  • Garnish with a cucumber ribbon and mint sprig.

THE POMPLEMO HOLIDAY FIZZ

Ingredients

35ml Ginato Pomplemo
Dash of elderflower syrup (or liqueur)
Dash of prosecco

Method

  • Combine all ingredients in a champagne flute
  • Garnish with rosemary sprig

THE FLUÈRE CUBAN

Ingredients

45 ml FLUÈRE Spiced Cane
120 ml Cola
Lime wedge

Method

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice then add the FLUÈRE Spiced Cane and top with Cola
  2. Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim, or squeeze the lime in for extra freshness
