They may not be able to put the past two years “in rice”, but Nando’s definitely has a few solutions to warm us up this winterfrom helping manage record high petrol prices (by delivering to us) and loadshedding (by throwing in free sides for each level) to their mouth-watering winter menu that encompasses good food, laughter and affordability.

Big fans of spicy chicken dishes, we love their Chicken Arroz Meal (R199) –  a perfect sharing meal of a flame-grilled peri-peri full chicken covered in a tantalising creamy, tomato-based Arroz sauce infused with roasted onion, garlic, lemon, fresh cream and butter, and served on a bed of fluffy spicy rice.

Another new addition to the menu (for those not-so-chilly days) is their lemony-lime designer drink, Agua Caipirinha – a tangy and sweet  thirst quencher that’ll have you thinking you’re on a beach in Mozambique, instead of in your gown on the couch – paired with Festa Fries for just R64.

Come almost month-end, you can still eat like a boss with Nando’s Err’Day Meals under R50 like the famous ¼ Chicken and Single Side or the Chicken Prego and Single Side for R49 each. Even more affordable, but just as delicious, you can get the Hotpot with Casa Pap or Rice for R39.

You can get all this goodness at stores nationwide for eat-in, takeaway or delivery or download the Nando’s app on Android, iOS and Huawei HarmonyOS to order from Nando’s directly.
