Keeping physical and mental wellness top of mind as we kick off 2023, Power, Bata South Africa’s athletic footwear brand, hosted a fab and fun Wellness Day at a seriously serene venue we haven’t seen in a while … Camp Orchard. Themed The Power To Be, the event which was attended by fitness fanatics and a few familiar celebrity faces, emphasized the importance of good physical and mental wellness and encouraged women to put in place the actions that will support their wellness journeys throughout the year. Yoga instructor Nosizwe Mji played host to the morning that took guests through mental wellness matters, a guided meditation walk, an outdoor yoga sequence, a movement class, and a session on healthy eating. The overall aim was to encourage people to power themselves with the tools they need to be physically and mentally well.
