KwaZulu-Natal’s finest young fashion design students set the catwalk alight at the recent Hollywoodbets Young Designer Award Fashion Show held at Gateway Theatre of Shopping.
Students’ interpretations of this year’s HDJ theme ‘Out of this World’ included touches of luminous, intricate beadwork, quilted details, traditional materials and tailored bodices. It was brilliant to see such unbridled creativity on the ramp in an exciting showcase of ready-to-wear looks from a selection of Gateway’s fashion outlets that inspired the audience in the build-up to the country’s biggest horse racing and fashion event.
