This one’s for senior citizens looking for a day of pampering in good company. Kloof local Heidi Salie has teamed up with His Church Hillcrest, to create The High Society Lounge, a space where those in need of a little TLC can spend the day relaxing, relating and rejuvenating. Under the loving care of trained staff – two carers and a registered nurse – and professionals in their relative fields (there’s a caterer, nail tech and hairdresser), those who come for the day can enjoy a light breakfast, have their hair and nails done, fill up on a two-course lunch and dessert, attend a gym or dance class, and make new friends at the same time.
