A happy space …

This one’s for senior citizens looking for a day of pampering in good company. Kloof local Heidi Salie has teamed up with His Church Hillcrest, to create The High Society Lounge, a space where those in need of a little TLC can spend the day relaxing, relating and rejuvenating. Under the loving care of trained staff – two carers and a registered nurse – and professionals in their relative fields (there’s a caterer, nail tech and hairdresser), those who come for the day can enjoy a light breakfast, have their hair and nails done, fill up on a two-course lunch and dessert, attend a gym or dance class, and make new friends at the same time. The High Society Lounge operates Tuesdays to Saturdays from 9am to 5pm and costs R1000 for the day. Details: To book contact Shireen on 069 164 9097.
