So much fun was had at this year’s Siyajabula Children’s Home Fashion Show held at St Mary’s Diocesan School for Girls’ in Kloof. Hosted annually by leading law firm Garlicke & Bousfield, and organised by fundraising volunteer Sharleigh Wilken, it was a night of glamour, compassion and purpose as fashion met philanthropy in the most stylish way. The event was MC’d by Nicola Grootes from the law firm and the school’s head of drama Debbie Morgan. Entrepreneur and trustee of Siyajabula, Samantha Barrett gave the keynote address before the models took to runway, featuring a collection of fashion from designers Bukamina, Bianca Warren, Elula Wear, Lula Clothing, Wendy Bashford Clothing and The Wild Co. A total of R24 000 was raised and the organisers thank everybody who contributed to its success.
