Stay for the sharing, enthusiasm, inspiration and motivation, and leave with the experience, relationships and collaborations.” These are the words Robyn Meloni, president of Umhlanga Women Achievers (UWA) kicked off with during the organisation’s first function of the year. The evening dinner event, held at Northwood Crusaders Sports Club in Durban North, was themed Summer Nights and supported by dozens of members and VIP guests who left inspired by international motivational speaker Nelson Reddy’s talk on How to Stay Positive in a Negative Environment.
