Having undergone a vibrant diner-style transformation, The Country Kitchen at Summerveld Lodge officially marked its opening launch with a special Spring Day Market. Vendors were given the opportunity to test the waters by trading for free, and wow … what a turnout! Not just traders of all kinds (including NPO Animal Lifeline KZN who received donations of animal food from caring locals), but visitors from all over Durban and the Upper Highway showed up to support the event which, given the enthusiasm with which it was received, is likely to become a regular affair.
