With Durban’s economic landscape having shifted and currently undergoing dramatic transformations that impact businesses significantly, key role players in the city hosted a Business Conference for business stakeholders, to highlight initiatives and catalytic projects that are underway, in an effort to paint a new narrative. This game-changing morning, hosted at The Junction in Kloof, saw a mix of city and business speakers, including deputy city manager of economic development Lihle Phewa, founder and CEO of Pro Talent Cindy Norcott, CEO of Invest Durban Russell Curtis and Kingdom Initiatives and All Shall Prosper chapter leader and founder of The Success Company Adele Benvie, all sharing their insight. The morning wrapped up with additional inspiration from homegrown former Springbok and business owner Wayne Fyvie, who spoke about his reasons for staying and investing locally.
