Locals came out in their numbers to watch Durban’s Super Giants (DSG) secure a two-run victory over the Pretoria Capitals at Kingsmead stadium, in the first home game of the Betway SA20 competition. The Capitals, who looked to be on the road to victory, needed just 17 off the final 12 but the home side’s bowlers held their nerve to take the Durban side home. What followed was an incredible collapse bolstered by tight bowling from DSG to prevent the Capitals from securing victory. So, a really great day outdoors for everyone!
