Join internationally published author Lizanne Hattingh for an insightful and empowering session, designed to equip family, friends, NGOs and community members with the understanding and tools to offer meaningful support. Drawing from her latest book, Loved by Grace, Toward A Graceful Purpose, and her personal journey, Lizanne speaks with sensitivity and clarity about the often-hidden struggles survivors face – and how you, as their support systems, can truly show up for them. The talk, Support Systems for Abuse – A Practical Talk, takes place at 10am on Tuesday, July 3 at Home Ground, Westville Baptist Church. There is no charge but seats are limited. South Africa’s oldest cycling race, the Amashova National Classic, celebrates its 39th edition with a new mid-winter date – Sunday, July 20.
