Tens of thousands of fashionistas, racing enthusiasts and culture lovers came together in true Mzansi style at Greyville Racecourse for this year’s Hollywoodbets Durban July. Those attending, including us, were blown away by Marvels of Mzansi theme-inspired designs that embraced every inch of South Africa’s rich heritage, providing a spectacular explosion of colour, creativity and culture. At the vibrant Infield Pulse Stage, the Raceday Fashion competitions, open to the public, took centre stage. From power couples with bold designs to individual elegance and eye-catching accessories – there was a category for all to shine. The spotlight also shone on SA’s next generation of talent with the much-anticipated Hollywoodbets Young Designer Awards.
