What an afternoon it was at the Robin Hood Foundation’s recent 80s fundraiser. Fans of the decade-old NPO rocked their neons and leg warmers and headed to The Barnyard Theatre, ready to sing and dance along to the Absolute 80s show. The iconic era treated guests to the familiar sounds from unforgettable movies and legendary bands like Dire Straits, Talking Heads, Depeche Mode, A-ha, Eurythmics and more. Just on R40 000 was raised on the day, which will be used towards food parcels at the foundation’s up-coming Mandela Day Mahala Market.
