We joined supporters and friends of the Robin Hood Foundation at The Junction in Kloof, where Cindy Norcott hosted a warm and celebratory event marking the organisation’s 20th anniversary. Cindy paid special tribute to the generous beneficiaries who donate goods and services, as well as the dedicated ‘Vollies’, whose passion keeps every project running. Guests enjoyed an entertaining and insightful talk by GG Alcock, who shared stories from his remarkable life and offered an eye-opening look at entrepreneurship, the informal market, and the diverse cultural landscape of South Africa. The morning also saw the launch of Cindy’s new book, The Weight of Hope, written for changemakers and non-profit leaders ready to turn compassion into meaningful action. A beautiful celebration of connection, gratitude and two decades of community impact.
