Some dining experiences are simply unforgettable. This year’s Bailliage de KwaZulu-Natal Christmas in July celebration transported guests into an enchanting underwater world at uShaka Marine World’s Cargo Hold, where glowing aquariums provided the backdrop to an exceptional Feast of the Senses. Following an after-dark aquarium experience and sensory wine tasting with canapés, guests enjoyed a beautifully curated menu by Chef Warren Frantz. Highlights included prawn and salmon roulade, duck and chicken duo, seared beef with venison ragout, and an indulgent dark chocolate dessert, each course thoughtfully paired with Nederburg wines. Combined with festive spirit and wonderful company, the evening celebrated not only outstanding gastronomy, but also the fellowship that lies at the heart of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
