You are beautiful

A beautiful spring day. A beautiful challenge. And the most beautiful runners … no wonder the SPAR Women’s Challenge Joburg is dubbed ‘Joburg’s most beautiful race’! This year’s YouAreBeautiful hashtag cemented just that. Emmarentia’s streets were flooded with women (and some men) on October 6 as they took on the 10km and 5km races. Among them were the four finalists and winner of SPAR and Get It’s Face of the Race competition who each rocked up with huge piles of takkies they’d collected for the ‘Drop a pair and show you care’ campaign for children who need them most. The vibe at Marks Park Sports Club was electric throughout the morning and there were smiles galore. Details: sparjoburgrace.co.za
