Serves 3

Time: 20 minutes

You’ll need: 6 slices of bread of your choice (we used brioche); chocolate spread; mini marshmallows; a sprinkle of flaky salt; soft butter, to spread

How to:

Preheat your oven’s grill to medium-high and line a baking tray with Glad bake paper.

Smooth chocolate spread over three slices of bread, then top with mini marshmallows and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.

Spread the outsides of the sandwiches with soft butter and place under the grill, keeping a close eye to avoid the bread burning. Flip the sandwiches over after two minutes and grill the other side until golden brown, then serve immediately.

Tip: A small sprinkle of flaky sea salt cuts through the sweetness

Croissant French toast with ham and cheese

Serves 4

Time: 30 minutes

You’ll need: 4 croissants, sliced in half; 3 eggs; 15ml milk; 5ml sugar; butter, to fry; 8 slices of ham; 8 slices of cheddar cheese; salt and freshly ground black pepper

How to:

Add the eggs to a shallow bowl along with the milk and sugar. Whisk until combined.

Line the base of a pan with Glad bake paper – perfectly non-stick and no washing up required after frying!

Heat the pan over medium heat and add a knob of butter. Briefly dip the croissant slices into the egg mixture before placing in the pan to toast, about three to four minutes per side.

Flip the croissant French toast once golden, and top with ham, seasoning and slices of cheese. Cook for a further three minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.

Repeat with the other croissant slices and serve immediately.

Simply remove and discard the baking paper from the pan – no washing up required!
