The Black Eagle Mountain Run (BEMR) in conjunction with Black Eagle Project Roodekrans (BEPR) and the Conservation Partners in the Sugarbush Ridge Coalition (SRC) means every step for conservation.
Calling all trail runners and hikers to the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden on Saturday 13 September. Entry includes exploring the home grounds of the Verreaux’s Black Eagle with exclusive access to well-marked trails that are only open for the trail run and hike in the beautiful surrounds of the Botanical Garden. Distances are 16km, 8km, 4km and 2 km. Trail run starts at 6.30am.
The event also includes a fun-filled morning from 8am to 1pm with live screened rugby test between Springboks and All Blacks, a live band, food trucks and beer garden, interesting stalls and kids’ entertainment.
