Details: A safe and steady back bending practice has many benefits, stretching the hip flexors and helping open up the shoulders and chest, an area where lots of us hold tension. Back bends build strength and power in the legs, arms and back muscles. By increasing mobility and awareness of the spine backbends improve posture and so much more.

During this two hour workshop we will discuss the benefits and contraindications to having a back bending practice. You will receive your own manual explaining back bending postures that you can safely practice at home, focusing on correct alignment and using props for support.

We will enjoy an hour yoga practise that will focus on warming up and activating all the parts of the body required for a safe and powerful back bending practice.

During the workshop there will be freshly squeezed home made juice to keep you hydrated and energised.

This workshop is for people who are at a beginner or intermediate level in their yoga practice.
