Find out why the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ are must-have devices

The latest editions to the Samsung Galaxy S Series is the Galaxy S22 and S22+ – and they are hard to ignore. It’s difficult not to immediately notice why Samsung calls this new series their most powerful Galaxy yet.  Both are jam-packed with what many people want from a smartphone, and what some would not have expected a smartphone to do. They include ground-breaking camera technology, incredible processing power, long-lasting batteries1 and a design that really stands out.

Let’s start with the design. The devices are eye-catching with on-trend colours, a slim symmetrical metal frame and sleek design encased in tough Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back. A few spills and splashes are hardly worth worrying about here as the devices have a 1P68 Rating2, which gives you peace of mind as you do life. Samsung has also used discarded fishing nets3 and transforms them into high-performance materials in these devices. Both the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ are available in Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green, and Pink Gold.

The camera matters. Considering these devices have Samsung’s most intelligent camera yet, it is going to excite everyone from passionate content creators to those who want a professional level of photography lens and editing tools. With Galaxy’s largest pixel senor yet, and Adaptive Pixel technology the camera is designed to let in more light, draw out details, and capture colours that will literally light up the night4. Low-lighting or harsher super-bright environments are easily handled with the camera technology. Both Galaxy S22 and S22+ include a 50MP main camera, 10MP tele-lens, and 12MP ultra-wide lens. Features like Auto Framing5 are also ultra-helpful as it can detect and track up to 10 people and automatically adjusts the camera’s focus, so everyone is in frame and looking good. The Galaxy S22 and S22+ also takes perfect Portrait mode photos and works well with Android to give you instant access to fun features including a range of Snapchat lenses.

Power and performance is built in. Whether you use your phone for work, home and for play Samsung’s biggest processor yet delivers. The super-quick processor will delight multitaskers and those who want uninterrupted streaming and response gaming. Also, the large all-day battery1 ensures you spend less time glancing at the battery bar and even when your power is eventually low you can top up in a flash with 25W fast charging6 on the Galaxy S22 and 45W super-fast charging on the Galaxy S22+.

The screen is a pleasure. Stream a movie or your favourite show and enjoy an immersive experience, with both audio and picture in stunning harmony. With Galaxy S22 you will undoubtedly be impressed by the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, so whether you choose Galaxy S22’s premium 6.1-inch display or Galaxy S22+’s 6.6-inch,7 you are in for a great adventure. To enhance your viewing pleasure even more, you also get built-in intelligent Vision Booster technology8 that automatically adjusts your display to the lighting around you and enhances the colour contrast. Clearly, life looks a lot better with these devices.

Another bonus, right now can also trade in an eligible older Samsung or non-Samsung device to one of these smartphones. You have until 30 June 2022 to receive a discount of R50009. Should you trade in at Vodacom you have until 6 July 2022 to receive a tariff reduction of up to R300 per month9. You may not want to miss out on this amazing offer.
