SCOOP
Established in Salt Rock in 2014, the team at Scoop make all of their ice creams by hand on the stove top – and they even bake and roll the cones by hand! The new menu for the gorgeous new TREE Natural Café space is colourful, vibrant and delicious, predominantly gluten free, totally refined sugar free and made from fresh, wholesome ingredients. The Beach Shack is a funky takeaway spot with casual deck space to sit and eat. Situated in Umdloti beach, their mission is to serve wholesome, nutritious meals at affordable prices in a responsible and earth-friendly manner. Their signature dish is Traditional Fish and Chips (R85), followed by their popular Burgers (R60), which are made with lean mince and are delicious! CAFÉ TURKA
Murat Oncel, the owner of Café Turka, immigrated from Turkey four years ago where he owned and ran a small restaurant in Marmaris. Passionate about making good Turkish food, his speciality is lamb doner kebab which is made with meat (lamb, chicken or beef) that is marinated and seasoned in the shape of an inverted cone and slowly cooked while turning on the rotisserie. The slow cooked meat is sliced (falafel option available too) and served with fresh salad, dips (hummus and Turkish garlic sauce) in a wrap.
