Glammed up!

It’s party season and our four North Coast Mrs SA finalists are sharing their ‘glamming up’ tips . . . and showing off some of this season’s loveliest frocks from Lush Boutique in Ballito.

MRS SA 2022 FINALE
The Mrs SA finale takes place on 11 November. Follow the contestants on the final leg of their Mrs SA journey: @eloisebriggeman, @nadiahope_aboud, @shanfourie.coza, @andilepietersonsa

ELOISE BRIGGEMAN
Three musts for a night out? Great hair, great lashes and wear something that makes you feel on top of the world!
Something you always have in your bag? Lipstick and a phone for photos for the memory bank!
Your personal ‘style’? Simple, yet elegant.
Biggest fashion no-no? As Coco Chanel would say, “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous”. My fashion no-no is revealing too much and not being classy.
Your favourite North Coast cocktail spot? The Pencil in Umhlanga – great cocktails and beautiful views.
Hair and makeup: Aldytha from Make Up Your Mind, @makeupyourmind_sa

Three musts for a night out? Lashes are a quick way of changing from day makeup to night makeup. Use darker eye shadow for evening events and always wear heels to a glam event!
Something you always have in your bag? Lipstick, concealer and an eye pencil.
Your personal ‘style’? Creative, sophisticated and comfortable.
Biggest fashion no-no? Not taking your body shape or type into consideration when selecting an outfit (unless, of course, you are confident enough to rock the outfit regardless!).
Your favourite North Coast cocktail spot? Tasos Bar and Grill in Ballito
Hair: Aurisha Govender, @aurisha07;
Makeup: Amber-Lea Horne, @amberleahorne

SHAN FOURIE
Three musts for a night out? Clean hair. You can’t feel your best if your hair doesn’t look good. A good at-home facial before going out if you have the time. Your favourite pair of heels – especially a pair you can dance in if the evening goes that way!
Something you always have in your bag? Cellphone, lip gloss and chewing gum.
Your personal ‘style’? I dress according to how I feel. I’m maybe a bit ‘extra’ by Ballito standards because I love beautiful clothes and a pair of wedges or heels, but I’m also comfy in a great-fitting pair of jeans and tee.
Biggest fashion no-no? I believe fashion is a form of self-expression and everyone should boldly wear what makes them feel good. For me, though, I stick to the ‘one loose, one tight’ principle for an outfit (if the pants are loose, the top is tight and vice-versa).
Your favourite North Coast cocktail spot? For cocktails it has to be Conchilla and my dinner favourites are 45 On Eat Street and Fiamma Grill.

Makeup: Kylie Pretorius @kyliep_makeup

ANDILE PIETERSON
Three musts for a night out? Always glam up with a good ‘facebeat’ (amazing makeup), accessories are KEY (even if someone is wearing the same outfit as you, they won’t have the same accessories!), and wear comfy shoes!
Something you always have in your bag? I always carry a good lippie and tampons!
Your personal ‘style’? Unique and glamorous … with a touch of ‘goddess’!
Biggest fashion no-no? Never change your clothes or your style for anyone.
Your favourite North Coast cocktail spot? 2 On Main in Chaka’s Rock
Head piece: African Kween Kotoure
