“I believe that there is a place for everybody in this world.”
Adel le Roux is the sole owner of Della’s Wigs and does the consultations herself as she believes in having a personal connection with her clients.
“I started Della’s wigs because I wear a wig myself and had many challenges to purchase wigs in Bloemfontein,” she says.
She adds that she did not start the business to get rich, but to help other woman as she saw that there is a need for someone that is in the same position as many women who struggle with hair loss.
“I am very proud of the confidence I got after I started telling people that I wear a wig because for many years it was a struggle to keep it a secret as I was very shy about the fact that I wear a wig. I am proud that I have started the business without any help or knowledge of wigs and now I can consult my clients with confidence,” she says.
Adel’s biggest motivator in life is her husband, Steven le Roux. “He makes me feel so beautiful that I sometimes forget that I wear a wig.”
She advises younger women to not be afraid to start a business and to do proper research. “Find a person that can be your mentor and learn as much as you can.”
